What we collect
Nothing.
No accounts, no analytics, no advertising, no tracking, and no third-party kits that gather data. Nothing you do in the game is sent to us, because there is no server to send it to.
What stays on your device
The game saves your best depths, your best depth per mode, and which swimmer, water and soundtrack you chose. All of it is stored on the device by iOS and never leaves it. Deleting the app deletes it.
Game Center
If you are signed in to Game Center, your best depth for a mode is submitted to that mode's Apple leaderboard when you set a personal best. That is handled entirely by Apple, under Apple's privacy policy. We never see your Apple Account, your name or your friends. If you are not signed in, nothing is submitted and the game plays exactly the same.
Purchases
The one-time unlock is sold by Apple through the App Store. Apple tells the app whether the purchase exists; that is the whole of it. We never receive or store your payment details, and we cannot see who bought the game.
Sharing a dive
When you share a run, the game draws a picture of it — your depth, your swimmer, the water you were in — and hands that picture to whichever app you pick. The picture is made on your device and is never sent to us. We do not know that you shared it, or where you sent it.
Your clipboard
None of those apps accepts text from another app, so the caption — a line about the dive, the hashtag and a link to the App Store — is copied to your clipboard when you pick one, ready to paste. That replaces whatever you had copied before, which is worth knowing before it happens rather than after.
The game only ever writes to your clipboard. It never reads it, so it cannot see anything you had copied.
Saving that picture to your photos
Instagram takes the picture directly and nothing is saved — posting a dive there touches your photos not at all. TikTok and Snapchat will not accept a picture from another app, so posting to either of them means putting it in your camera roll first and choosing it there. The game asks for permission the first time you pick one of those two, and saves one picture: the dive you just shared.
The permission is add-only. That is a separate, narrower thing from photo access: it lets the game put a picture into your library and gives it no way to read, browse, list or see anything already in there. Glub Glub never requests the read permission, so it cannot be granted by mistake — and the picture it saves is one it drew a second earlier and already has. If you decline, the sheet says so and nothing is saved; sharing anywhere else never touches your photos at all.
Permissions
Add-only access to your photos, described above, and asked for only when you post to TikTok or Snapchat. Nothing else — no location, camera, contacts, or notifications. The app does declare a microphone purpose string, because the audio library it uses includes recording code that Apple's tooling detects. Glub Glub never records audio, never asks for microphone access, and iOS will therefore never show you that prompt.
Children
The game is suitable for all ages and collects no personal information from anyone, including children.
Changes
If this policy ever changes, the updated version is posted here with a new date below.
